xinyi attended NOMAD 2oo8!

I know very well that this is outdated news but since i attended it, might as well post something about it. It was quite a large scale event and i think the school has really put in quite a lot of effort into NOMAD production. The design and concept was good. Wan shi and i arrived late at the for the event although supposedly there is no restriction on what time you should arrive and so on but there were a few performance we weren't able to catch. Quite a waste but i was quite satisfied with the performance we watched especially the one on John Cage. Good acting guys! Very entertaining but the story was well brought up. Also the ghost story telling set up at the basketball court. Not very scary but good effort. But what i liked best was the Kopitiam setting in the foyer. Really cool. So 'kopitiam' and they even sold local food which further brought out the feel.

The finale was also great. The band did a GREAT job in playing the pieces. But maybe because I was personally involved in the previous NAMOD in 2005, the sense of involvement was greater and the theme that year was more artistic. But anyway, keep the tradition going.. looking forward to an even better NOMAD in 2 years tims (:
