Just returned to Singapore a few days ago (10dec) from China. Though which i realise happy days pass really fast. 17 days seem only like a very short period of time but that wouldn't be if i had not gone to China. In these 17days, 8 were spent in Beijing, 5 in Suzhou and 4 in Shanghai. Though they may be part of a same country, being rather far apart, their culture has great difference. We're right they are all chinese but nevertheless, in terms of food, habits and so on its miles apart. Probably, its just too difficult for me to describe in words.
Shopping though was the best part of everything. With an exchange rate of 1:5, we really do benefit lots. Bargaining at every chance we have was really cool. The usual goes...
shopkeeper(sk): this cost blah blah(usually super unreasonable price)
us: bargain by cutting the price by 70 to 80 percent
sk: cannot larhs
us: than dun want lorhs
sk: give a better price?
us: *walk away*
sk: okok..come back..i'll give it to you
DEAL! hahas
With that, i bought super lots of bags. A pair of walking shoe, a pair of boots, shade and cap. They're just much chaeper and definitely more fashionable. They're no longer the typical China that people might think of. Especially in Shanghai, you won't believe how the fashion is running ahead. In where we are, probably we're still more conservative when it comes to dressing, refering to the majority other than the few exceptions.

While typing this post, i'm reminded of the 17 days. I want to go back for more fun! the horse riding (you ride on your own, unlike in the zoo somebody holds the horse and bring you for a one round STROLL). The mountain climbing (not very tall though but definitely of higher difficulty than bukit timah hill) in boots *lols*. Perfect scenery~ Of course my favourite... winter dressing! No chance for that here. But definitely after all the fun, i still return to the lovely tropical island =) Maybe..i'll go for more fun next year?! hees'

PAE result released today. Guess what! I've been posted into Anderson JC (sci). Am i truly glad? i'm not sure. But definitely, I should be thankful enough that there is a school that i'll be going too. Though it maybe not be my first choice but life's like that, right? There are just too many things out of our control. Maybe it may turn out to be something good afterall. If life had been that simple, I wouldn't be sitting here blogging. Ah~ who cares! I've got a school to go too *hahaHahahaha*
